I’m going to be taking a break from writing publicly on my blog for a while. I don’t know how long it will last, but I am confident that in the future I will certainly write again in some capacity.
The Lord helped me get through a very difficult winter, and finally I am at a place where I am growing again and feel that I am moving forward. More than that, I feel that I have entered into a chapter where God is doing a deeper work in me in ways that I have not experienced in the past. I’m excited for the growth that will come, yet it has also forced me into a period of personal prioritization and a retreat from many of the things that I love, including maintaining my blog.
My goal over the past two years has been to create pieces that encourage you to think critically about faith, whether or not you are a Christian. If you are a Christian, I hope what I have written has challenged you to take your faith to new levels in your day to day life. For those who read and are not Christians, I pray that you have been inspired to think about who Jesus was and what his life, death and resurrection means for you. He is our hope for all things and his love is greater than anything we can imagine. In addition, I hope that my posts have helped all of you discuss more difficult topics of the faith including social justice, sexuality, and mental health in a more respectful and informed way – not in a manner that divides on differences but under the common knowledge of God’s deep desire that we fight for love and unity in our relationships even when that’s really hard.
Thank you for reading. I’m proud of these posts and am appreciative that you all have made this special for me by reading, commenting, sharing, and encouraging me to keep writing.
Much love to all of you,
